SO... you're sitting there thinking, "well, i would LOOOVE to be a part of this kick arse phenomenon that is Roller Derby, but i don't like wheeled devices strapped to my feet, and bruises make me queasy..." Or better yet, you have a deep desire to digest a derby rule book and spit out penalties at naughty skaters...
Then maybe the SGC is for you!
These men (and ladies) are the smartest, coolest, and downright dedicated-est (it's a word) crew in town, but they need your help!
There are currently PLENTY of positions vacant for eager minded ladies and men aged 16 and over to join either the Referee section (on skates), or the NSO section (non-skating-officials).
It's a great way to learn the intricacies of this fascinating sport, and there is no tighter knit community or better support than here.
